Thanks: Massive, massive thanks to Liz Bedson. You are a woman and a half! Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the challenge. Liz has sadly had her own personal challenges in the past few weeks but there she has been supporting everyone. YOU ARE AMAZING! Friends for life. All of us on the Snowdon Challenge in aid of Stroke Survivors Crewe and Alsager (and hopefully Middlewich soon!) Xxxxx

Chris-GoFundme Page for Snowdon Challenge
We discovered the Crewe and Alsager Stroke Survivors group by accident. It was created by Liz Bedson after her own Father suffered a stroke. Liz personally understands the experience and has established the group to allow every participant to enjoy and challenge themselves whilst being amongst people in the same situation. The value of this group and their support is immeasurable and for Chris it gave him a target and a purpose: to walk with them on the Snowdon Challenge. Chris made a decision to secure much needed funds that will contribute towards the running of the group and support them in their valuable work. He is doing this for other people and their families knowing how difficult it is when a stroke occurs. And he is doing it for himself to prove that he can.

A privilege to have been invited to the new Stroke Survivors Group opening in #Alsager today.
The group provides peer support, information, trips out and social events for Stroke Survivors and their loved ones.
A good opportunity to signpost to services and listen to feedback.
